Boxing day is the day after Christmas! Not sure how other countries view it but here in the UK it’s a bank holiday so shops have reduced hours and should really be closed instead!
It’s kinda similar to Easter Monday where it’s not the main day but still a holiday

Oh that makes sense! Also that sounds nice, to my knowledge I haven't heard anywhere in the US that does that unfortunately. Most places that work off a bank holiday here get Christmas and that's it till New Years

I work in retail so I don’t get that privilege 😭
I always through the US had something similar though, I had no idea they didn’t.

Oh no! Yea retails not fun around the holidays especially with hours. I can see some buisnesss doing it here (not big chains though), but not that I've seen personally
