No fluoride in Portland and neither of my kids have had any cavities. (25 and 22). I grew up with fluoride in the water and had at least 10. I am a proponent of fluoride in the water, but there is a big disconnect in my experience.

Now all those molars with fillings are cracking and need crowns. The good thing about that is that I get gold crowns because I’m from Oakland. I want to be worth something when I die. I think I have 5 or 6 now.
