May I ask what you liked about it?

I did enjoy the music and the way Saszi the beast was reimagined. But everything else about Stampede was misery to me.

It was my first introduction to the Trigun universe I didn't know anything about it before Stampede and it touched me so deeply it wouldn't fit in a single post. The animation is gorgeous, Vash's character is amazing and touching, Meryl is so freaking cute, music is dope-

I personally thought Stampede was a waterfall of misery.

The manga and original anime had Vash and Wolf successfully saving people more. There were numerous characters that Stampede didn't include. Millie was a way better character than the bitter drunk guy. The pacing was better.

Milly will be in season 2 its teased at the end ahah, also I agree with that take. The first half of Trigun 98 being basically a sitcom made the emotional stuff hit even harder later and Stampede was missing that. I hope there will be more of this in season 2 💫
