A very reasonable question. I don't buy any supermarket salmon now and I always ask where it comes from at the fishos. It is comes from Tasmania, I don't buy it.

My small way of saying the salmon industry STINKS.

It's very hard to know. I am now mostly vegetarian as I struggle to feel OK about eating animals. Except for white anchovies. They are pure mouth joy. 😀

Thanks Chris. The salmon I buy at the Preston Market is about $58 / kg. It’s fresh (not smoked or processed in any way) & unpackaged. So all up, a bit cheaper than this Tasmanian salmon & therefore maybe an indicator that it’s not ethical / sustainable. Hard to say. But now I have another option. 👍🏻
