Not so much crazy as it is a product of our endeavours to understand our Earth's, our Solar System's place in the vast Cosmos. Coupled with our knowledge of mechanics, the phenomena we call electricity and chemistry.

Earth is unique in that it is the only planet that can support our carbon based lifeform.
Not only is it unique it is also a Beautiful planet because of the life it supports.
