One of the few great things George W Bush did was create a pandemic prevention program that Obama expanded upon. Trump dismantled that program, removed people we had monitoring for viral outbreaks in China.

If Trump hadn’t done those things there’s a chance COVID19 might’ve been prevented from becoming the global pandemic it did.
I mean, Obama managed to prevent global outbreaks of Ebola & other diseases during his administration using these tools.

I remember 2008. I worked for a major financial firm, and Phoenix was one of the epicenters of the real estate crash. Between co-workers close to retirement having to stay in the workforce, and neighbors creeping out of their homes at midnight to avoid eviction, it was a carousel of misery.
