Ultimately cost and volume.

It’s much cheaper to produce a resin mold than an injection plastic one and for the volume of minis they sell in Heresy it’s much more cost effective

Thanks Andy! That also makes a lot of sense. I forget HH is far more niche from a sales perspective than 40k (and others).

That’s exactly it. A plastic injection mold sets you back anywhere between £10k and £100k depending on the complexity. Need to shift a lot of kits to justify it
