Well some of her apparent personality can blend well with traits people consider cat like. Such as not seeming "antisocial" but really just liking to hang out with people in calmer environments over parties. Or just sitting near people she likes while not necessarily doing the same activity.

Randomly hiding and acting stealthy is another trait both domestic cats and big cats do, mostly as a way to play or hunt, but it also seems like compulsive to them. Maybe she could prefer moving around quietly or trying unreasonably hard to avoid being noticed by others sometimes?

Not sure how best this last idea could apply to your shorts though. Perhaps if she playfully tries to see how close she can get to coworkers without being seen, though if caught she denied any silliness and is flustered about it?
