Musk is just an arsehole who likes to use the subject of child abuse as a battering ram, yet, consider what was going on in his neck of the woods. There is this dude with a ton of wealth to do something useful for his own country and widespread child abuse that happens in Africa, he did nothing.

It's easy to pick Musk apart imho, he gets himself into spats at a rate of knots and frankly is a mendacious liability. The bloke is high off his face most of the time and is very prone to making mistakes. He's a ticking timebomb for Dumpty Trumpty and Co. - They seem oblivious to it too.

I take your point, and I'm not a natural Lib Dem supporter, but I think there's a qualitative difference. Davey made no bones about the fact that his stunts WERE stunts, designed to raise coverage of his plans. Johnson's stunts were designed to fool us into believing a fiction.

On a BBCR4 comedy show yesterday (only half heard cos I was cooking aloo saag) a jokey suggestion was made that Ed try riding a Spacehopper.

I just want it on record that I think that’s a terrific idea. Ed’s water sports moments in the last election made him look real, daft and fun. More, please!
