It's more that the news media and party leaders will look at the results at a national level, in which case we face the danger of them being taken as a Farage triumph, with all the toxic consequences that would stem from that.

Sadly 5.5m of us have had our vote cancelled. Due to the proposed imposition of unitary authorities by the Government many County Council elections have been shelved. Here in Suffolk which is a huge area already with councillors covering many miles a unitary authority will not work. Am fuming.
