Cymbalta withdrawal induced brain zaps have returned today. As some may know I tried to stop taking it weeks ago without knowing that there were issues. So I saw a proper doctor with plan to withdraw. And I suspected that she had it wrong. So I spread the pills out. Still getting withdrawal

It seems to be getting better each week though. So...there's some progress. I'm sure you'll see some improvements soon too!
I was only on this drug for six or seven months. And not at a high dose. I take a lot of other prescriptions and I suspect the affected the results.
Like, yeah, the drug is out of my bloodstream within 2 weeks, but my brain had developed a dependency on them. It's obviously going to take time to re-adjust. But they don't tell you that at the start
I feel that the pain clinic was sloppy and wasn't listening to me. I think I dodged a far more serious problem by refusing to take their drug test. Because they cut off treating me and I was forced to stop using this drug now
But this last stint since COVID started has been 4 years. The withdrawal is 10 times worse and has lasted months. It's frustrating more than anything. Plus the temptation to reinstate.
It should be black labeled, or something.
ADHD doctor recently told me “you seem depressed; you should take something for that” and I’m like HELL NO NEVER AGAIN.
Tonight I took apart 30 mg capsules measured out the medicine and then separated it into approximately 12 to 15 mg doses. There's something so wrong when you have to become an amateur pharmacologist in order to taper off of a medicine
If I had known that Cymbalta ...
It had some results, but, at the end of the day, it left me feeling like a zombie.
I take so many medicines, I can't help but think there were multiple counter indications.
