I think we have a lot more to worry about than a five dollar overdraft fee being removed. Technically you are taking their money if you overdraft I understand that things happen but dammit it’s not the biggest priority right now.

Everyone needs to gtfo out of big banks and move to credit unions. Not only will it take away a large part of their power, it also saves you money in the long run. You can refinance your car, house, and swap credit cards. And if we all do it together, it sends a strong message 💪🏽

Adding overdraft fees on to an already over drawn bank account makes no sense whatsoever. People end up spending their whole paycheck on overdraft fees and have no money left for essentials. What then? The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

Dems should demand a tax cut for the bottom 50% before debt talks—paid for by higher rates on the top 5%. With inflation, benefit cuts looming & billionaires pushing austerity, people need relief. This forces the GOP to oppose working-class tax cuts while defending the rich.
