My son attends the Boys and Girls Club, afterschool and their summer session. I would not be able to work and support my little family without it. They make my life possible, and my son LOVES their programs. They, like head start, are under threat, and so is thousands of people’s ability work.

When I was in first grade I went to something called chapter 1. It was for kids who weren't picking up reading skills as fast as other students. That little extra attention changed who I am.

Dems should start clearly stating that Repubs do not want Americans to have good lives. They do not want Americans to be prosperous, healthy, or happy. They want us subservient and desperate. This should be one of the core pillars of the Dem party. All evidence shows this to be true.
