“Physicians at Covenant Children’s Hospital in Lubbock, Texas, say they’ve now treated a handful of children who were given so much vitamin A that they had signs of liver damage.
Some of them had received unsafe doses of supplements for several weeks in an attempt to prevent a measles infection”

And the ease with which humans can experience vitamin A toxicity is a very well known, longstanding fact in nutrition. There is a very narrow window between the amount needed for optimal health and the amount needed to kill you.
Somebody throw the book at RFK Jr. The man is killing people.

And if a little is good, a lot must be better.
Most vitamins it doesn't matter if you take too much because they're water-soluble and you just lose the excess in urine (worst thing it will cause is some GI distress).
Vitamin A and Vitamin D are NOT water-soluble and will do major damage in excess.
VitD has a VERY broad window of safety while preformed vitA has an EXTREMELY narrow one.
Also, vitD intakes at/over the upper limit are often required to achieve optimal vitD status.
This is not so with vitA.
Even a little in excess of the upper limit is dangerous.

Many centuries ago, Paracelsus got it right: Dose separates medicine (or essential nutrient) from poison.
It bothers me how so many multivitamins have various B vitamins in great excess of what is recommended. Water solubility - which makes them easier to excrete - doesn't make this safe.
Re multis, this went by not too long ago

Frankly, anybody with a medical credential pushing this bullshit should lose it.
