I don't think that gambling has made football better. And I agree with Michaels. Gambling is designed so that you will lose over the long-haul. What do you think? 🤔
Stay away from SGPs, betting on your favorite team, etc. and stick to boring straight bets. You'll have a chance that way if you are good. Sports betting is a skill. But can be a costly one to learn.
And to be good and to make good money at it, it basically is going to be a job with the time sink you have to put into it. Had a friend who was a professional poker player. He quit not due to not making enough but burn out from how many games he had to play and for how long to make money.
Like everything else pro sports shoves down the public’s gullet, gambling is designed to separate rubes from their money. And there are plenty of rubes eager to comply.
No different than other hobbies. Like golf—you'll spend hundreds of dollars on new equipment and range balls. Once in a while, you'll have a great round or whatever. But over the long run, I'm sorry, you're still going to suck.
There's a reason that there aren't numerous golf addiction hotlines, therapies, syndromes for people with golfing addictions. Golf is ruined far fewer lives than gambling has.
Yeah since all the gamblers I know totally see it that way. I’m not against legalized gambling, I just thinks it ridiculous how stacked it is against consumers (even by US standards)
