I didn't even know about the BlueSky paid thing, but I'm glad to report that it doesn't have the same negatives as Twitter. I'd also love for it to start really verifying accounts, but I would think that is coming now that businesses are really starting to join.
Re: the point about verification, why haven't more organizations started using subdomains for their employees / writers like PitcherList and Nick Pollack?
It's not there yet and needs more real time posts. I basically only get website posts like this it seems on Blue Sky so far. I can open it up (which goes to the to most recent annoyingly) and scroll back and be hours in the past with not much effort. twitter I would never get more than 2 hours

And, Bluesky's lists (to pin to your page) are fantastic to follow during live sports.
For instance, @minakimes.bsky.social has a great NFL list (see below) for following during an NFL Sunday.
Just wish I could find similar lists for other sports.
