I logged into twitter to request my data export and see @satanacchio.bsky.social posting about node_rc.json and I really had to stop myself from engaging. So many opinions about this 🤣.

The mere existence of a file like that should be controversial right? I don’t want to make too many assumptions, since all I did was read your one tweet, but if you add a config file of any sort it opens a door you cannot close.
Well it would an experimental feature so we could drop it. So far the way of setting things is NODE_OPTIONS and cli-command. Lately the amount of flags to pass to node is a LOT. A config file makes it more ergonomic
