WOW Axios! you must be watching a different press conference then me...YES HE IS STILL BLABBERING and you have already started spinning his garbage into something less damaging. What the hell has happened to AXIOS?
America will pay more in the long run in more ways than one. Trump’s killing the goose that lays the golden egg. This is the behaviour of a cabal of mental illness patients off medication & without supervision.
The big public companies are all multinationals. Unless the whole world economy completely shits the bed now, they're shockingly safe from all this nonsense.
Ironically, the most tariff-sensitive giant company probably is Tesla.
When a government imposes tariffs on foreign products, they arrive in the country more expensive. The result? From shoes to home appliances, everything becomes more expensive for the average consumer. Inflation returns, and wages don't keep up. A failed war.
Tariffs may protect one industry, but they harm many others. If companies can’t sell abroad, they lose revenue, cut jobs, or even shut down. In other words, there are no jobs.
The reason Americans don't buy American goods is that the quality is below the standard of foreign goods. Honestly, would you really buy a Ford instead of a Mercedes? Is there even an American built TV?

Trump talks too much.
Trump should just say it
and stop with the political “reality show”.
Trump loves the sound of his voice .
A 78 year old man,
staring in his own
self-aggrandizement reality show.
Talk too much !

During the Great Depression,
the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act of 1930
significantly increased tariffs
on foreign imports,
leading to retaliatory measures
from other countries
and a sharp decline in global trade,
which worsened
the economic downturn.

Now those same people are balking at a 10% tariff.
Its too bad liberals cannot hold their train of thought beyond the word Trump...
