i think mccarthy is a totally fine but flawed NFL head coach. i think that brings a high floor to your team if you do not have an injury crisis or a totally busted roster like the cowboys this year, but also, you're probably not winning a super bowl with him. https://bsky.app/profile/eugenebwhitaker.bsky.social/post/3lfn7zoyhe22m
the problem the cowboys have with a coach like that is no one has learned anything or changed in any way since the 90s, so this makes it easy to make fun of them while their fans have too high of expectations, everyone has a lot of practice slandering them, and they're discussed on TV all the time
