The area above the airport is controlled airspace as is virtually anywhere near larger airports/metropolitan areas . The airport itself is uncontrolled since there is no tower. Google AI is only as good as the info it was trained on and the specific question; it isn’t a rated pilot. 😉

Is it just me who naively didnt appreciate how much preventative activity it took for air travel to be safe? I always thought air traffic were there to co-ordinate obvs but not that safety of every element was that full of life and death activity
Probably not the news/place to make the point then. Especially when most people know nothing about the FAA or how airspace works. There is enough chaff in the air without adding more. YMMV
OMG this is unreal. As more FAA officials are fired and standards are lowered or ignored flying will no longer be safe. Yesterday there was an aborted takeoff in Houston because of an engine fire. No one was injured luckily.
