I guess im I’m one of the few that like it. I’ve been paying spark for some of this same functionality. People hate on the built in mail app but it’s slowly getting better.
I highly recommend Proton mail. It’s encrypted and highly functional. Anything else is suspect regarding content harvesting. I also recommend DuckDuckGo browser for encrypted and anonymous browsing and password management. DDG also has duck player that removes YouTube ads.
That's not actually what I was referring to. Apologies if you misunderstood. A couple of years back proton was discovered to have been harvesting user data. That statement may be a little inflammatory but I don't remember exactly what was going on except it was sufficient to turn me off trying it.
You too? The iOS and the OSX upgrades broke so much of my work flow, added all kinds of weird shit that I discover by accident and then have to spend fifteen minutes disabling, and just sorta ... swept away a bunch of my little scripts, plugins, and helper apps.
I’m glad I turned off auto-updates. I haven’t heard a good thing about Apple’s updates in a couple years at least. Software updates have become the bane of my online existence.
I’m so happy to see your post; I’ve been ticked off about this ALL DAY! My inbox is divided int 4 categories: Primary, Transactions, Updates, and Promotions. I hate it 🤬
It’s awful. How do you delete a single email? Instead it seems you have to delete everything from a given address? I wonder how many whole threads I deleted before I realized the implications

Apple is right back where they were with Mac System 9.
