I cannot believe i actually got a reply today about "glad amazon is finally doing something about piracy."

And they removed the lending feature of ebooks. And they’ve “updated” books before, changing the content and or covers without consent.

Chinese authors have somehow found the fortitude to joke about this a bit and meme with it, but it is very real and very awful.
