The categorization of "light rail" bothers me. Here in Portland, the proposal to extend our light rail across the river to Vancouver gets opposed for dogwhistle-racism reasons.

A couple of people have mentioned that - it was a new one on me, but I live in N.E. where we have sprawling rail (MBTA and commuter) all over the place, so probably a regional blind spot there.
