So, since I got my very first feline fursona years ago, I started getting detached from my Zeraora pokésona, I never really put much thought into it before until now, but it is something that has been happening slowly over the years

Before, I felt like the reason for that was that I now had something that I could say was 100% mine, even if my fursona design was inspired on Zeraora, my fursona was still 100% mine with no attachment at all to any other IP that belongs to someone else

Time passed, I got a female sona, I changed my male sona to be some sort of a mix between dragon and feline, but I still kept my pokésona around, it was rare for me to use him, but I still did it occasionally

However, I think I'm now at a point where I feel completely detached from my pokésona. In part it was because it has been a slow process over time, but I think my recent disappointments with the Pokémon franchise in general made that process faster...

Despite my origins in the furry fandom in general being pokémon related, and despite the fact that I still love pokémon, I honestly don't really want to associate myself with it anymore. I already decided to not give TPC a single cent until they show me they can change.

That is not to say that I don't want to consume any kind of pokémon media anymore, I will still emulate their games when I feel like playing them and I'm currently playing their TCG Pocket game (fully F2P though)

Because as I said before, I still love pokémon, I just don't want to have myself, my image, associated with pokémon anymore. This does make me feel a bit sad though, because Pokémon was basically my furry origin.
