This seems like some Dan Snyder activity. Why are we excited about the Commanders wasting their rookie QB contract window on a bunch of over-the-hill big names? These are the type of moves a 12-year-old would make on Madden.

Except none are over the hill, you surround the rookie QB with established veterans for a SB run. Then you slowly shed those contracts a rebuild through the draft. Rookie WR, OT etc are a crap shoot. You hit on a QB now you can add vets. Not the other way around.
