That's why I'm not taking what players say at face value. They want the best deal they can get and will appear to throw their prams out. It doesn't always mean they want to leave. Just negotiations tactics. There is prestige with playing for #LFC too, and they won't always get better deals elsewhere

Maybe I'm seeing something that isn't there. I don't know. But, the season ends in 4-5 months, & they are no closer (so they say) to signing new contracts than they were 6 months ago. That worries me. It worries me because of Henderson, & the reluctance to give longer deals to over 30's.

I think there's a worId in which I can understand Mo leaving (if they are too far apart in valuation), and Trent pursuing his childhood dream of playing for a fascist club (🙄). But if you can't keep Virg at the club, then, we have a problem.

Kevin have you had a look at UEFA FFP guidelines for 2025?
Compare wage ratio to the clubs last set of accounts.
The issue is way more complicated than “just give them what they want”.
Not enough being said about how hard that 70% will be for PL clubs in Europe.
