If you have the CNN app, open it. Examine the top menu. Scroll all the way to the right and you'll find "Science" and "Climate". Well to the left of it and much easier to find are Style, Travel, Entertainment and Sports. We need to adjust our priorities and it starts with the media. - ThreadSky

It's similar on the News section of the BBC website.

Science isn't on the top bar, but relegated to a drop-down "More" menu listed way to the right of "Culture" which is the last of the "main" news topics.

There is a Climate heading, but it would help to have Science there too.

Silly things like climate scoence just get in the way of overconsumption. Who wants to think about what their Temu order is doing to the environment when you can make a tiktok haul video and be internet famous!? Can't make anything real a priority in such a plastic society.

Your point is a good one, however, even if they did move science and climate front and center - they would still find a way to "both-sides" it.

Society shifted its priorities long ago. As we both know, science takes time and society and it’s TikTok runtime level attention span wants instant gratification. Science, space, climate- all that is just “geeky, nerdy, gay stuff” now. More so now, actually.
