And only because of our colonialism and destruction of the sovereign government there! Woo hoo! π¬ (not pointed at you, more of a wow even when thereβs a bright spot we suck)
Alt: Postum made from wheat and more wheat, bran, roasted, whatever else you can do to it, plus molasses. Woman-owned company, vegan. At website, can buy different flavors plus frother insulated cup. I am pleasantly surprised
Altn: Had roommate who liked the Postum Iβd bought as coffee substitute. Comes in jar as a powder. Powdered what, I donβt know. I was trying to reduce caffeine consumption. It was vile, but she loved it. Each to his own.
Better than the space cadet who posted that we'd be fine cause we should buy American from the New Jersey coffee forest . The only coffee substitute there is ground dandelion root or Chicory. Lmao
Another place that's part of the US that grows coffee is Puerto Rico. I bought nearly 4 lbs. of PR coffee when I was fortunate enough to visit in December.
Our perky mornings will now have to be rationed. I suggest you warn your spouses and roommate that some mornings the coffee may never come to rise and shine you.
If Hawaii is smart, theyβll close out out of state coffee deals to exclusively supply the domestic resorts. People will pay top dollar for rooms that have coffee in them.

1 state and 4 US colonies can grow coffee. None of these locations are particularly large producers of coffee.
