A familiar feast of slasher fixings where a pantry of humanity at it's worst is being served a plate of personal revenge leftovers.
Makes you wanting more even after the holiday.
An instant classic for an under-represented holiday. So many folks zip over to Christmas movies after October and I think this movie does well to make sure that won't happen anymore in some households.
It’s a blast. I loved how Roth approached this as a remake to the Grindhouse trailer. It’s also the rare holiday horror that uses its theme to the fullest extent. That’s always a huge bonus.
I was bummed out that it wasn't as edgy as the original fake trailer. It's not an exploitation movie. But removing the fake trailer from the equation, it has a lot of fun moments.
This is by far my favouite Thanksgiving horror movie now. I've rewatched it a bunch in the last year and pick up more things that I love about it! Eli Roth did a great job 😍
As a born and raised "Masshole", there's a lot of local flavor that's real... though I don't know if Cordage Park is THAT big, but you don'lt like the diner food you CAN go to Papa Ginos, and Hanover DOES suck! 😂
I finally watched it this last week! I liked it - but the New England accents (which is where I come from) were perhaps a little overdone. But then again, plenty of other movies have done it far worse 😜
A fun wild flick worth the wait and may have been improved because of the time between the mock trailer from Grindhouse and out of the films that that exist because of Gindhouse its great
... not into republican propaganda horror Movies. Roth is a... well... not a good guy. I'm gonna skip this one. Knowing his view points on bombing children.
i had fun with it, roth managed to make it feel like an old-school slasher while it still had a modern vibe to it. definitely going to be an annual thanksgiving watch!

I'd say it's better than most of the Scream sequels. Really brutal, but a whole lot of fun.

Legitimately curious how the sequel will work, even if the violence is hard for me to stomach.
The new 4K is impressive, too. Visually solid and comes with 2 hilarious BTS videos.
