"Tell me Captain, have you ever gone Falconing? The hood is the most important piece of equipment. Preventing it from seeing anything at all and muffling its hearing to avoid startling it. It must trust its Handler outside of it's Mech at all times, else be trapped on the ground and denied the sky."
Harpy Handlers are notoriously possessive and tactile with their pilots. No arms requires a lot of hands on caring for the pilot now, from hair styling to bathing to working any basic household appliances.
A pilot, that can operate a god of war, utterly helpless without its Handler in daily life.
"The legs come with remote overrides, allowing us to avoid needing to tie a jess to its legs anymore. Though some Handler's enjoy the traditional method. It's a delight to set them loose and control their hunt, just as much as it is a delight to watch the newly caught ones flounder in resistance."
"The implant attached at the C3 vertebrae functions as both transponder as well as the radio attachment for it's aural augs. As an added function, it can act as a creance and functionally shut down all nerve signals if it tries to escape as well. I've watched plenty fall to the ground like stones!"
You know, I thought it would be nice for her to get some enrichment, but this is looking much more perverse than I anticipated. The patch of drool beneath it is getting pretty big.
