You hate it because the term is everywhere, because companies all have market share FOMO. You’ve been using various flavors of AI for years without ever noticing because no one ever called it “AI” 100 times a day.
Truly so annoying how many companies seem to treat it like a catch-all solution to everything now. It has its uses but it’s actually a lot less versatile than people think
It’s literally just to take people’s jobs away, as soon as possible. The greater the adoption, the more we’re going to end up being brutalized and discarded by our corporate overlords.
The only thing that AI is better at than humans is spamming social media. Nothing else.
If an AI can do it, a computer program or a human can almost definitely do it better and cheaper than an AI.
If you use Instagram there's a cool app you can sideload called Instander that gives more privacy and customization options than the stock app, but the best part is there's none of the Meta AI crap on it
kind of agree but also know it is an inevitable part of the tech boom. this will not stop until they all realize these AI systems are fallible, inconsistent, unreliable, pron to hallucinations, and out and out lying!
Let’s start with all the call centers because when I need to call a company (instead of finding the solution online) then I need to speak with a human.
I'm all for progressive and improving technology, but honestly I'm sick of A.I. being everywhere, use for stuff that matters, not stealing art and making the internet worse!

But forcing it into random consumer products is not the one
It's best as a tool for specialists in certain fields
