The Avalanche and it's not even close. Choosing fandom due to ownership is ridiculous. Kroenke is not even involved, it's his son now and he's great at empowering team personnel. Our coach is excellent, our talent is top tier, and we play aggressive possession-based hockey.

I'm not even a Kraken hater. I'm thrilled that Seattle got a team, I love their nickname/arena/sweaters. They didn't get the jumpstart in talent like Vegas, but they're building.

But the Avalanche represent a hockey prototype that is being adopted league wide, as seen by Florida most recently.
