Great thread. Anyone can spot bad writing. It's ingrained in us. You'll just know and be able to articulate it.

If it's good, it's harder for me to say why it's good. All I can say "Wow, that was amazing." It's more of a feeling.

So if all that’s true, why are narrative people being laid off?
Well, bad writing might be easy to spot, but good writing is more illusive.

Good writing often doesn’t take up too much space in a viewer’s mind; it gets out of the way and lets them *feel.*

And thus, is severely undervalued. 10/11
