Like it’s clearly a person with very little logical thinking, to think or insinuate that’s a large part of the fanbase or just really weird people online is annoying
That's all the Twitter and Facebook WWE fans. I would know that because I've spent the last 2-3 years of my life seeing the thing I love run thru the mud by hundreds of people with that same exact sentiment. Do not think for one moment that just because you don't think that way everyone else doesn't
It's gives me a sense of "cringe" (revulsion and taken aback) whenever these types of fans refer to the WWE as "we" as if they are like part of the company in terms of management or talent
Like "we don't want them" or "this is what happens when you leave us"
Yeah it's just defend aew passionately because wrestling fans give me absolute shit for merely talking good about it. But aew actually helped me with anxiety with their hangman storyline and the funny matches with good stories.
Ngl I was in the same boat. The WWE hiac match in 2019, it was absolutely stressful. I quit wrestling and also the pro wrestling subreddit made me lose my self esteem
The stadium stampede match in 2020 reignited my love for pro wrestling
I would have agreed with that statement before noted Aaron Rodgers pal/low key MAGA man Pat McAfee mentioned the national anthem reaction eleventy five times and noted troll Logan Paul brought the flag out for cheap heat.
The days of Bradshaw doing the “Elon musk Roman salute” in Germany are long gone in WWE. Logan (that’s who that was with the 🇺🇸 right?) went out with a flag given to him by WWE to carry it out there for HEEEEEAT brother.
I assume Logan IS a heel in the promotion, too, right? So what does that say about what WWE thinks America is if they have a heel out there heeling on fans by being American?
What foes it say about WWE that they had their lead announcer say they liked Logan because he brought the flag out after their lead color guy was just yelling about the anthem being booed?
Meanwhile, poor Pat McAfee can dish it out, but can't take criticism. Got blocked on the bird app by McAfee for the mildest criticism of Saturday night's xenophobic stupidity.
McAfee put out a mild apology on his show (at HHH's behest?) today, though without understanding why Canadians are angry.
"An I sweh ta gawd, I meant it at the time!" - also POS Mark Wahlberg from a different project that involved The Rock (though 'Pain & Gain' is a damn good flick)

Terminal parasocial life.
They literally gave me back one of my great passions.
I completely understand
