As a prior emergency medical caregiver, you wouldn't BELIEVE the shit insurance companies would give us WHILE THE PATIENT IS FIGHTING FOR THEIR LIFE. It was so frustrating.
Insurance companies are nothing compared to the scam of involuntary commitment, where doctors and hospitals can charge patients for being hospitalized against their will -- forced to undergo medical treament by order of the State. Involuntary commitment is legalized extortion.
