It's a beautiful spot. I grew up there and interviewed Mr. Grassi for a grade school project. He was quite old at the time and I don't recall a lot about the conversation but I've still got a piece of quartz he gave me that he'd picked up on the mountain.

We found this place by mistake, we thought Google maps was taking us on a short walk from Canmore, these lakes were stunning, the waterfall on the way up was beautiful, however we made the mistake of going down the riders of Rohan path.. steep and rocky. 12miles in all.. great photo

Grass Lakes is truly astounding! Could spend all day there. I was told that if you continue that hike up to the ridge, there is a boulder with petroglyphs.
