I would say, the steam deck is the maximum size it can be without being too big. even so its quite large still. we all miss the days of the DS back when Nintendo was less evil.
What's with the extra blank screen on the bottom or is the screen just that big? The Steam Deck pushes boundaries and that thing is unwieldy as hell. Imagine carrying it onto a plane 🤣
For those who primarily play using a gamepad on PC, this could actually be good! But, it would depend on the OS they have in place and how easy it is to navigate using a gamepad. Definitely don't mind the larger screen, it's still more portable than a gaming laptop with peripherals.
It's a repeat of the old Gameboy.. The old Gameboy wasn't the one with the biggest screen, or the fastest... But it was affordable, portable, and had a great library of games.
they ironed a steam deck. they flattened and lengthened a steam deck. what even is this. how can that be even remotely comfortable for anyone without giant hands. who built this
Depends on the price point but as someone with giant hands this looks good to me. I'm speaking as someone who hasn't had a comfortable controller since the X-Box Duke. I do agree that lack of touch pads is a gross negligence.
I could understand the Legion Go, but this is now just ridiculous. Why would anyone want something so large? I don't think anyone needed *that* much screen space just to play games. Whatever happened to the "portable" part of handheld PCs?
When I use the legion go im like awesome, bigger screen. Then I go to the deck and go nah this is best...lighter more ergonomic. But then I see this and I'm like...maybe a laptop. No trackpad is insane as well, is it at least a touch screen?
