@chad I don't think many people who work for NASA voted for trump... A lot of Canadian research is dependent on NASA grants too, directly or indirectly (including parts of my research), because NASA (used to) give out way more money than NSERC or CSA.

@sundogplanets When I disclosed I was Canadian, the first thing folks asked is how I felt about the 51st state. I answered "Trump can peel my free healthcare from my cold dead hands" and no one objected.

@chad Oh yeah, it's definitely true, there are some. But a lot lower fraction than other subsets of Americans (plus a large fraction of NASA employees/grant holders are immigrants who may not even be able to vote in the US).
