you put this together so beautifully! 💜 looking at the albums (Journey, Imagine, and Navigate), I do think Jin wants us to see happiness as a process and a resilient mindset rather than a blissful state, he's so amazing 🤧

it does not sugarcoat, it is not saccharine. From maybe the 3rd or 4th play I thought Happy is not simply about happiness for me - the word that came to mind was resilience.
So many of the songs are about enduring something (the inability to connect, failure, unrequited love++

Jin wanted us to have. The lyrics focus on this greater happiness, not the small happinesses - and yet this feels an anomaly compared to the rest of the album, in terms of its tone and messaging. We all need that type of joyful energy too at times ++
