Not how you deal with the homeless or scared dogs protecting their caretakers. They had hands on guns before tasers. Kudos to the better trained cop who secured the situation with a taser.The two women are elderly.

While I do agree we need to recognize that when “protecting a caretaker” and “homeless” are in the same sentence there’s certainly an open door for a massive amount of issues. Especially with the stigma around pit-bulls.

You did a great job. My neighborhood. This is a mini Mass & Cass. From your video it is clear the woman was “on something” and had the LLP dog on a choke collar and it was twisting and she no control of the dog and she was being aggressive to the dog. Her partner was also out of it.

Dog ran down Boylston up to Newbury, down to the Public Garden, across to the Common, ran across Tremont by the McDonald's, then down Winter into DTX. It got as far as Pearl and Franklin before a cop tased it and they were able to get it in the back of a cruiser to await Animal Control.
