I think it is evident that we have already brought the conversation to BlueSky!
In an environment plagued by scientific misinformation, do medical organisations/journals have a moral imperative to remain, to provide a source of truth & reason?
Or should they just.. leave?

- Unify the discussion
- Safe space for everyone (eg LGBTQ)
- Stop supporting twitter (which is now a vehicle of misinformation & political manipulation)
- Twitter is currently NSFW (eg frankly pornographic content)
After a while I think institutions are going to start questioning whether they really want to be associated with twitter. It’s not the same as it used to be.
But for now the fascism stuff is just a bridge too far for me.
This leaves the debate on this site feeling hollow and echoey on some topics.
In a social medium full of toxicity, any scientific/ reasonable/ moderate voice is bound to be drowned from the noise of misinformation.
