Glad it's not just me! Not a fan of Force Org charts going too. That made elite units special and stopped silly army composition. But focusing on the good news, every single new model is a 10/10 hit for me! Especially Fellblades...

FOC isn't going, yet. Some of the screencaps show that it is sticking around. But they may make it more fluid, such as legions like IF and IW being able to exchange a FA or Elite slot for a HS slot. We'll know more very soon.

Okay that sounds not too bad, I hadn't seen that screenshot. I'm not a fan of the 40K free-for-all FOC as the challenge of composing a balanced army was a big part of the hobby for me. Exchanging slots seems like a nice mechanic.

Totally agree. I'm very sad to see Horus Heresy go to a three year cycle. I won't be buying any new books because I just don't play regularly enough to justify the cost.

They're releasing all the replacement books immediately, which is much better than last time. I'm really not seeing the doom tbh. beyond not liking a regular release cycle which yeah, pinches the pocket but is a normal assumption with GW

As someone who was hoping force org charts would come back to 40k, I fear this means they're dead forever if even 30k lost them, and makes 30k completely unappealing to return to.

not buy any more books for HH for at least 6 years tho. if it was a Sataurnine add on book to 2.0 .. I would have pick it up straight away!
