I don't understand the point of this test as 2 tanks was always and option via open queue. And in this you have to run 2 tanks as 1 tank without the HPpassive melts instantly. Then I feel like 80% of the dps or healer pool is useless as you either lack the damage or healing as the solo role.

I imagine the version where the lone role receives a buff will feel a lot better since you won’t be so forced into using two tanks. Lone support also feels pretty bad in my experience, especially since people are still in the mind of one tank while playing and don’t stay together so much.

I expect so but it depends on what the buff is. if it's just a hp buff. I suspect that the second test will just go back the 1 2 2 most games. And I think my point on 80% of heroes being useless in the solo role, if it stays 2 tanks will still stand. As that is fundamental to the heroes kits.

Hopefully they can do a multi-tank balance and single tank balance. So with multiple tanks, they’ll be balanced how they were in OW1 and solo tanks will get the OW2 5v5 buffs. However, the biggest complication to that I think is swapping roles mid game.
