they used the only signature available as an example of the drives...Its not that hard to understand Bub XD if they *did* do what you think they should have done (kept the red drive) Dont you think that would be even *more* of a waste for the second and 3rd tiers?

The wording is not Vague at all and the devs didnt "lie" to you, It clearly states in the first sentence that each season would include a *new* drive to gain every season, And if you get a higher drive (I think their 2) you'll get a second Roman numeral to your drive signifying that you've done 2
