I don't think that's something they'll announce tomorrow since they still seem to be testing 6v6 things (with the small comp 6v6 mid-season 15), but I too hope they will end up adding a 6v6 mode permanently. I'm already struggling just thinking about going back to playing 5v5 next season lol

That’s valid, they aren’t gonna scrap lore all together it just isn’t going to come out in the form of playable missions. It’s also gonna be slower for the time being to most of the people responsible for OW story getting laid off by the dickheads at blizzard
