Who didn't love Pete? My best bud just turned 14 last week. The eyes are getting cloudy. I know my time with him is short. I try to love him more each day.
Finally came to bluesky. Since we last chatted we fostered many dogs with our first foster fail being a mentor. Last November we fostered a puppy in need of surgery. We had her for three months before her surgery then nursed her back to health for another month. Long story short we now have 2 dogs.
"Mr.Petes, I think you are the greatest thing in the whole world!"

He grudgingly came to appreciate Eli’s pure adulation. Eli acted as Pete’s guide dog for the rest of his life, and crawled under the bushes to be with Pete when he died, licking his face.
