Right? I feel lien we all dive in at page one and that’s great but then everyone is only talking about the same 5 fics over and over and I always run out of steam before I get to the end of a collection. This way I maybe even get to be first for something amazing!

exactly, exactly! you get to read something that may not have as many eyes on it which is exciting (plus you get to tell everyone the news!)—and everyone worked so, so hard on their fics!
