I find the apps give overview but the most reliable weather forecast for my immediate area are the ones by amateur meteorologists on Facebook. Some run local groups with very specific weather.

I haven’t found anything more reliable than the met office, but then I’m more of a ‘look out of the window’ kind of forecaster!😉
