Republicans have wanted to privatize USPS for years, just as they do with everything else. Problem is plenty of folks in rural America now order online or have their own online biz. They're not a government service, because it's not free. much like UPS and FedEx, we pay for the service. similarly, we pay the postal service to send our mail and packages. I'm not asking them to make a profit, just that they not lose BILLIONS of dollars a year.
