You can find it but not make it beep. It’s usually under the mattress or quashed between the two mattresses. Adjustable beds have their down sides.

Hope you can resolve it. We have FireTV Stick so have the same issues and the remote is ludicrously miniscule. I have a Logitech universal remote - since defunct - that can be used as a substitute for many remotes. I will miss it when it finally passes…
